School over and summer is here. It’s time to go on a vacation and enjoy basking under the sun’s heat. Wherever you want to go, the goal is to enjoy summer and take advantage of the weather. My favorite season is summer because it gives me the chance to explore beautiful beaches in the Philippines. No idea where to go this summer? Here are my top summer destination picks to give you the best vacation for this year.
Summer Vacation Ideas
Boracay. The serene Boracay Island is always the top choice for Philippine vacation during summer. It’s famous for its powdery and fine white sand.
Puerto Princesa, Palawan boasts beautiful beaches that are truly paradise-like. It’s a an ideal place to visit when you love island-hopping. Also, don’t miss visiting Palawan Underground River - one of the Top 7 New Wonders of Nature.
Bohol will always be close to my heart. The province is famous for its Chocolate Hills. Based on my personal experience, I fell in love with Bohol because of its quiet and serene beaches in Panglao Island.
Cebu. My most recent vacation was in Cebu. I was dying to visit this place for some unexplainable reasons. It’s one of the best places to visit during summer. I personally recommend the Bantayan Island located at the northern part of Cebu.
Zambales. When you go to Zambales, there are many beaches you can visit. With these various options, you’ll be torn. If you love island hopping and adventure, book a visit to Potipot Island or Anawangin Cove in Zambales.
Benguet. Not interested of going to the beaches. Go up north and visit Baguio or Benguet. Enjoy hilltop and mountain views. Once done with your Baguio City tour, try exploring nearby towns in Benguet. It takes 1 hour travel time from the city.
