I went for a dinner at Pancake House in Quezon City with Tonton. I am on a diet but you can’t help but drool over the menu of Pancake House. Honestly, as I am writing this post and looking at the pictures, I felt so hungry making me want to eat steak and crepe from Pancake House.

Whenever I eat in a local restaurant, I always ask for their best sellers. It’s the best way to determine which food tastes the best.

Valentine's Date in Tanay Rizal - Bulawan Floating Restaurant

Valentine’s day is over. For sure, everyone has an unforgettable date stories to tell. It might be a simple date or some unique travel adventures and out-of-town. Whatever it is, the important part is spending the day with the person you love.

When it comes to special occasions, I always prefer to do something unconventional. Last February, Valentine’s day of 2011, my boyfriend and I explored Tanay, Rizal. I got the date idea from reading a magazine. We went to Bulawan Floating Restaurant in Tanay, Rizal.

It took us 2-3 hours before arriving at the restaurant. The view on the road is very scenic so I really enjoyed the trip.

The food at Bulawan Floating Restaurant really tastes good. The hours of travel is worth it. Once you arrive at the place, you will really feel hungry. 

You will enjoy eating at the place since it’s an outdoor restaurant. The wind breeze and the serene surrounding will really make you feel relaxed.

It’s been one of the best Valentine’s we had. We’re even featured at Cosmo Magazine for this special Valentine’s Day adventure in Tanay Rizal.

This was our last year's date. This year, we decided to go on a simple dinner date since we're have bigger plans to prepare for this February. :)

Potipot Island - Summer's Temptation Getaway

Last year, a few months after our Anawangin Cove Tour, I went back to Zambales again. This time, I explored Potipot Island located at Candelaria, Zambales.

The travel hours lasted up to 6 hours from Manila. Upon arriving, we stayed in a resort near the island then we took a boat to Potipot Island. It’s just a 5-minute boat ride.

Potipot Island is an ideal place for beach bumming. There aren’t a lot of activities to do aside from Jet skiing, camping, and beach strolling. But if basking under the sun, lying on the shore and beach strolling is your ideal summer activity, Potipot Island in Zambales is the perfect location for you. Also, the island is great for picture taking and sunset photography.
