Cebu Foodies and Pasalubong

Rainy season is a few weeks away. When it rains, it is easy to think about what to eat. Usually it lingers in your mind until you get a taste of the food that you want. I decided to share you today a food tripping idea you can do while staying in Cebu.

Fall In Love with Bantayan Island

Beach is my favorite place on earth. Seeing the vast blue ocean and powdery white sand makes me feel happy and peaceful. I love going to undiscovered beaches with less people. Bantayan Island is an ideal choice if you want to escape away from the busy and overcrowded beaches like Boracay or Puerto Galera.

Dawn, Sunrise and Sunset in Bantayan Island

I love taking photos during dawn, the color of the sky and the surroundings at the beach is most beautiful before sunrise. At dawn, you can capture breath-taking images with nice tones of colors and blending of hues.

Palawan is My Summer Wonder

Instead of cursing this hot weather, let us view it from the positive side. Summer in the Philippines is definitely fun because we have more than 10 choices of summer destination to visit from March to May.

Cebu City Tour

My long wait is over. I have been wanting to go to Cebu since last year. Finally I was able to book a trip going to Cebu last March. I spent my first day in Cebu for a City Tour. Getting around the city is really fun although you have to prepare yourself from the heat of the sun.

Bohol - My Sweetest Escape

I will never forget the day I set my foot on Bohol. It is wonderful paradise worth visiting. The travel took only less than an hour from Manila Terminal 3 to Tagbilaran Bohol airport. Thanks to Philippine Airlines (PAL). It was a very smooth travel aboard.

Bohol Tour

Tagbilaran Airport

Whenever I remember my three day visit there, I can’t help but smile. I fell in love in that place.

Here are the places we visited during our Bohol Tour.

Sanduguan Monument

Bohol Sanduguan Monument
Finally, we met the infamous Miguel Lopez de Legaspi and Rajan Sikatuna. It is the place of blood compact between the Spaniards and the Filipinos.

Loboc River
With very tasty Bohol delicacies served in the riverboats plus the native songs played by the musician.

Chocolate Hills Bohol

Chocolate Hills
Bohol is like synonymous to its tourist spot, the Chocolate Hills. My boyfriend and I dared to count them all, but we failed counting. It was a wonderful view to see small hills that looked like chocolate on summer and looks like green mini hills on rainy days. According to the latest survey I read from Wikipedia, there are around 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres (20 sq mi).Too bad my camera suffered from battery lost when we arrived at Carmen, Bohol, where the Chocolate Hills is located.

Panglao Island Bohol Beach Club

Bohol Beach Club
We stayed for three days in Bohol Beach Club. It felt like I don’t want to go home when we came there. It was a paradise. The smell of the sea breeze, the serenity of the place, everything’s perfect.

Snorkeling in Balicasag Island

Balicasag Island Marine Sanctuary
My sweet escape can’t be complete without the island hopping. We did snorkelling and swimming while enjoying the beautiful waters of the place.

Dolphin Watching Bohol

Bohol Creatures
Ooops. I almost forgot. If you want to watch the dolphins swimming in Bohol waters around the island, remember to wake up early and catch a site of them in the middle of the sea while riding on a boat.

Tarsier

The Infamous Tarsier
They look so cute. It's the smallest primate. Visiting Bohol is never complete without seeing this tiny creature.

After three days, it's time to go back to Manila. But for sure, I will always come back to this place. I simply love Bohol.
