I will never forget the day I set my foot on Bohol. It is wonderful paradise worth visiting. The travel took only less than an hour from Manila Terminal 3 to Tagbilaran Bohol airport. Thanks to Philippine Airlines (PAL). It was a very smooth travel aboard.
Whenever I remember my three day visit there, I can’t help but smile. I fell in love in that place.
Here are the places we visited during our Bohol Tour.
Bohol Sanduguan Monument
Finally, we met the infamous Miguel Lopez de Legaspi and Rajan Sikatuna. It is the place of blood compact between the Spaniards and the Filipinos.
Loboc River
With very tasty Bohol delicacies served in the riverboats plus the native songs played by the musician.
Chocolate Hills
Bohol is like synonymous to its tourist spot, the Chocolate Hills. My boyfriend and I dared to count them all, but we failed counting. It was a wonderful view to see small hills that looked like chocolate on summer and looks like green mini hills on rainy days. According to the latest survey I read from Wikipedia, there are around 1,776 hills spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres (20 sq mi).Too bad my camera suffered from battery lost when we arrived at Carmen, Bohol, where the Chocolate Hills is located.
Bohol Beach Club
We stayed for three days in Bohol Beach Club. It felt like I don’t want to go home when we came there. It was a paradise. The smell of the sea breeze, the serenity of the place, everything’s perfect.
Balicasag Island Marine Sanctuary
My sweet escape can’t be complete without the island hopping. We did snorkelling and swimming while enjoying the beautiful waters of the place.
Bohol Creatures
Ooops. I almost forgot. If you want to watch the dolphins swimming in Bohol waters around the island, remember to wake up early and catch a site of them in the middle of the sea while riding on a boat.
The Infamous Tarsier
They look so cute. It's the smallest primate. Visiting Bohol is never complete without seeing this tiny creature.
After three days, it's time to go back to Manila. But for sure, I will always come back to this place. I simply love Bohol.
